The 97/2000 Foundation of Vivekananda College is an alumni-led initiative formed by students who completed their O/Ls in 1997 and A/Ls in 2000. Our mission is to identify and support academically gifted students by offering scholarships to help them pursue their Advanced Level studies. We believe in recognizing talent and empowering students to achieve their full potential. Through this initiative, we not only encourage academic excellence but also contribute to the ongoing growth and spirit of the VC community.

As an alumni-led foundation, we believe in giving back to the institution that shaped us—and in creating pathways for the next generation to succeed.
Scholarships for O/L 9A Achievers – We provide financial support for A/L tuition classes to help top-performing students continue their academic journey.
We proudly contributed Rs. 100,000 and 60 cement bags to the Old Students Association as part of a joint effort to build a new entrance for Vivekananda College.
We have renovated the science laboratories and donated essential equipment to support practical learning for Mathematics and Biology students at Vivekananda College.
We identify talented students from Grade 1 to 5 and reward them with gift vouchers and essential study materials to encourage early academic excellence.
One of our Advanced Level Biology Stream scholarship recipients has been selected for university admission to study medicine and pursue her dream of becoming a doctor.
We donated book racks to the Mini Library for Primary Students to encourage reading habits and support early learning.
